Biography

Michele Di Filippo is a young guitarist composer with various experiences to his credit with live concerts in prestigious guitar festivals and with participation in national and international competitions. He wrote music from a young age releasing his first compositions for guitar in two albums in 2011 (Il Suono dell'Anima) and in 2013 (Il Viaggio). He undertakes the study of composition which allows him to conduct his own compositions for orchestra at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and at the Eliseo Theater in Rome. He is the author of music for guitar, chamber and symphonic music, regularly performed in concert halls and Italian orchestras. The performance of the orchestral version of the piece "Tribute to Aaron Copland" by the Abruzzese Symphony Orchestra is recent, broadcast on the Radio Tre Suite radio program broadcast on Radio Rai 3. In 2020 he released two CDs "Four studies on resonances" for the Symphonic Edition and "Roland Dyens: Guitar Works" for the Da Vinci Publishing label. In 2022, the MusicMedia edition began its collaboration in the field of production music with the publication of the record album "Acustic Memories" with original music for acoustic guitar. He is currently engaged in the activity of composer, arranger and guitarist.
