Edward Glen and Isaiah Z Johnson Redeye Flight - Out Now In the summer of 2016, Boston-based songwriters Edward Glen and Isaiah Z Johnson co-wrote their first song together around a campfire by the shores of Lac Cascapédia on the Gaspé Peninsula in Québec. Since then they have crafted a unique sound, blending equal measures of Americana, pop-punk, and alt-rock influence under tight indie-rock arrangements. 
 Since their official collaboration under the name “Downy Woodpecker” began in 2018, the duo has played the DIY circuit in Massachusetts and have just released their debut LP, Redeye Flight, a country and pop-punk influenced indie-rock album about roaming the wide world and being far from home.
