Biography

Drew Gasparini is an award-winning composer/lyricist and singer/songwriter best known for his work in musical theatre. Drew has written music and lyrics for over a dozen musicals including the Broadway-bound adaptation of The Karate Kid (book by screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen), It’s Kind of a Funny Story (book by Alex Brightman); Night Shift for Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures; The Whipping Boy (book and co-lyrics by Brightman); and We Aren’t Kids Anymore (an autobiographical song cycle). The popularity of Drew's musical theatre album I Could Use A Drink has led to sold out concerts across the globe, and the songs off that album continue to rack up millions of streams and views on Spotify, TikTok, and YouTube thanks to viral performances from artists like Reneé Rapp. Drew is responsible for some of the most memorable Super Bowl commercials in the last decade including the award-winning Super Bowl publicity stunt, Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical, starring Golden Globe Winner Michael C. Hall (voted #1 Best Super Bowl ad of 2019 by Forbes). As well as The 2023 Booking.com Super Bowl ad Somewhere, Anywhere starring Oscar Nominee Melissa McCarthy.
