Hedgelocked, also known as Quill, is a 18 year old dream-pop musician from South Massachusetts. Taking inspiration From Vocalists like Patrick Stump from @Fall Out Boy , Stephen Fitzpatrick from Her's , Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, and Bearface from BROCKHAMPTON , Hedgelocked's music has a uniquely dreamy vibe to it. Although their songs have a sweet sound to them for the most part, Hedgelocked isn't afraid to write about more dark subjects and bring them to light. A good example of this is their concept album AGORAPHOBIA . AGORAPHOBIA's tracks are all based off Hedgelocked's own personal struggles with concepts such as mental health, drug abuse, anxiety, and religious tension. Hedgelocked was the producer and co-founder of indie duo THEREDFOREST, alongside personal friend Chimera. This group had a more dark tone musically, releasing “THEREDFOREST 1” on soundcloud in February 2023.After breaking up in october 2023 due in large part to creative differences, the two artists have pursued their own interests. Since then Hedgelocked has been producing behind the scenes on a vocal hiatus, releasing “BARK ” in january 2024, HL transitioned to a new sound. and has formed artist and producer duo “LADY FACE” with close friend ariiincolur in march 2024, Releasing breakout hit “WITH BATED BREATH” on october 15th, 2024.
