Drummer Boyz is a well-known and highly celebrated Durban-based Afro House/Gqom group. It is made up of two members,Zenzele Khubisa(Zex) and Njabulo Cidwell Mbatha(Dj En) and Nkosi Cyril Mbhele(Peacemaker) . The name Drummer Boyz is derived from the Drum elements that define their sound. . The three hail from Durban,Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) their musical journey began in Durban. While approaching various studios in an attempt to secure a recording deal, they tried various tactics to have their sound heard. Their music journey started in 2016 with the genre called Gqom. In 2018 they were recognised for their hit singles Mercy and Makushona Ilanga.
