Nouvelle (formerly known as Arms and The Woman) from Oslo has excisted since 2011 in various constellations. The foundation was made by Andreas Bade, Christian Volan and Casper Kvammme who all came from the dissolved indiepop-outfit, Amalee. Musically Nouvelle is a versatile and sometimes schizophrenic musical experience without being distinctive, taken or prententious. When changing name from Arms and The Woman to Nouvelle, the sound also took a slight turn from being fairly pop-based and straight forward, to being more experimental, noisy and at times a bit more melancholic. But still the band is rather undefinable and will not commit to any particular genre. If any apply, it would most likely be melodic noisepop.
