Biography

Paris-born, 26-year-old concert pianist Dimitri Malignan is a laureate of multiple international competitions, winner of the Prix Cortot (Paris) in 2017 and laureate of the 3rd Prize, Audience Award, and J.S. Bach Award at the Concours Musical International de Montréal (Canada) in 2021. After his critically-acclaimed first album Robert Schuman, Serge Prokofiev: Prix Cortot 2017, Dimitri Malignan released in 2022 his second solo album, Bach: Pérégrinations, which received a tremendous amount of positive reviews and reached more than 120.000 streamings on Spotify. He recorded in 2024 an song album with the soprano Elizaveta Agrafenina, entitled Elegies and Echoes. Dimitri Malignan is also featured on the Hermann: Complete Surviving Music, Vol. 3 and the Forbidden Music Regained 2021 CDs.
