It is difficult to comprehend that after his fathers death on the 15th February 2012, the late Rev Dr Peter Samuels; Roger considered giving up singing because the passion he had was being lost through the sorrow of a grieving heart. The relationship with his father was integral to him also being a father and husband to his wife and 8 children.
