Sophie du Palais, also known as Vrouwe Fataal, is a German vocalist and recording artist from Amsterdam. Sophie du Palais’ sound mixes elements of sinister and commanding vocals – reminiscent of Miss Kittin’ – to create an infectious vortex of panic. After a night of experimenting a night in a studio and uploading her their first track on Soundcloud, Pinkman Records stumbled upon the profile. She released twice on Pinkman which is known for having a third ear out for the very finest sounds of tomorrow  Sophie du Palais’ and Identified Patient’s haughty, somewhat punky track ‘Crush On You’ caught fire with the burgeoning international crowd and her stony vocals similarly lined up with their Dekmantel release “The drip” a year later. A series of early productions on various artists compilations were scattered throughout 2020. While dance floors were going wild from Sao Paolo to Moscow and India, Du Palais was finalising her debut EP. This collection of clubby productions with new wave sensibilities will be released on BFE Records in July 2021.
