At home, his parents were playing all kinds of music, his mother and grandmother playing Aaliyah combined with his father introducing him to hip-hop acts had a profound influence on Swooty. As he entered high school, signs of his appeal shined as he released mixtapes and freestyles, this was only the beginning. There is no specific sound you can force Swooty into, in fact he prides himself on that diversity in vocal performances. “I can’t name two of my songs that I approach in the same fashion.” the Ohio artist explains.
