Dealing in vicious, old school hardcore aggro, the anger and frustration of their live shows and self-titled debut album (Candlelight / Spinefarm 2022) is the perfect catharsis for our times. Started as a lockdown project, Cage Fight was born to unleash frustration, taking influence from bands like Slayer, Hatebreed, Walls Of Jericho and Stampin’ Ground. The project evolved into a full band in February 2021, and released their ‘Hope Castrated’ demo in May 2021, which received a huge amount of buzz in the media and online. Before playing any shows they were invited to perform at Metal Injections online ‘Slay At Home‘ festival and received high praise from Revolver, Metal Sucks, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang Radio and more. But most significantly they landed a record deal with Candlelight Records. April 2022 saw the release of their debut self-titled album - one of the most furious and angry records to emerge from the UK in years.
