Roberto Cacciapaglia is an Italian composer and pianist, based in Milan and London. He received his diploma in composition under the guidance of Bruno Bettinelli at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan. A leading figure in the world of innovative music, his work blends classical tradition, avant-garde elements, and contemporary influences. His artistic journey explores different genres and styles, aiming to discover the essence and connections that go beyond divisions. For Cacciapaglia, sound is a way to reflect on the mysteries of life, an experience of personal growth and emotional connection. Cacciapaglia has performed on many prestigious stages worldwide and has released numerous albums with some of the world’s most renowned orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Teatro alla Scala Academy Orchestra, and more. His latest work, Invisible Rainbows, released in 2023, reached the top of the charts in the UK, Italy, and China. In 2023, he received the Montale Prize and traveled to London, where he was a guest on BBC Four and performed for the second time at Cadogan Hall. In 2024, he performed at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, and on August 19th of the same year, he was invited by the Festival of Politics to perform at the Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh.
