Tanikka Charraé is a singer/songwriter hailing from Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love, and SOUL. She's sang professional backing vocals for over a decade for iconic artists such as Lauryn Hill, J. Cole, and Jazmine Sullivan, and is releasing her first single in over 3 years, which will be followed by her first studio album. She is stepping from the background into the forefront, with what she refers to as, an intentional and vulnerable collection of songs; That tell a story and document some of her best and worst moments. Tanikka Charraé describes the album as a journey to figuring out she doesn't have it figured out, through a fresh, yet nostalgic sound. She brings witty lyrics, and deliberate harmonic vocals to R&B, and her first single "No Hard Feelings", which is produced by Big Yount from Tha Noize, is the perfect example. Tanikka Charraé has also worked with producer Brett "B DuBb" Baker who delivers a strong Hip-Hop presence, which she describes as her key signature of music. Tanikka Charraé has toured all over the world incorporating her love of culture and Philly roots in her sound, and describes herself, as a new artist that discusses real life, in the language of melodies.
