Established in 2014, Southern California based post-hardcore project Mind Elsewhere combine meaningful lyrics, powerful performances, and a wide range of influences to create an interesting and unique sound within the genre. After playing a few shows in their local music scene, the former duo dropped the first two singles, “Falling For You (Remember & Forget)” and “Ghost Ship.” A couple years later, the band became a solo project, fronted by founding member Ross Rocco, and with influences ranging from PVRIS and Paramore to Thrice and A Day To Remember, he expands on the project’s post-hardcore sound and combine elements of pop rock and post-hardcore in newer material. With a new sound and several more singles in the works, the start of this new year is the start of a new era of Mind Elsewhere.
