Taburu is a duo formed by two brothers born & raised on the north coastline of Barcelona. At a very young age, Albert’s Creative side started coming out. He first began drawing at the age of 6, and when he was 14 he started writing. Music came to his life when he discovered the virtual dj industry at the age of 15. Finally, when he was 18, he discovered his passion for the world of music production, which he has been working on since then. Gerard’s creative side has never been as strong as Albert’s, however his strategic one has been. Focused on giving new ideas, feedback and trying to think out of the box to improve their music. It has been 10 years since they started producing, going through many different stages but always following the aim of doing something different. In 2020, they realized that the sound was as important as the creative side of the songs, that is the reason for which they strongly focused on the art of sound engineering. Inspired by movie soundtracks, mixed with techno sounds, Taburu tries to bring you to a Journey with its epic-oriented melodies. During all their life, none of their projects seem to see the light, until 2021, the year they have made their debut with their first EP, Cosmos.
