Sipho "Doctor" Magudulela is a renowned guitarist and performer hailing from Mpumalanga, a province in South Africa. He is known for his unique passion for compositions and ability to captivate audiences with his use of intricate guitar riffs, soulful melodies, and traditional African rhythms. His music is a reflection of his deep appreciation for South African culture and his desire to showcase it to the world. He has worked with the likes of Pastor Benjamin Dube, Lebo Sekgobela, & Pastor Sipho Ngwenya at the beginning of his career, performing at events and occasions both within and outside of South Africa. He has a lyrical sensitivity to his instrumental compositions, drawing listeners in with subtlety and introspective levity. Sipho oscillates between the worlds of improvisation and composition, with a background of Gospel music and Afro Soul. He presents a performance that reflects his love for music and passion for playing his guitar. His debut EP titled In The Heart Of Music was released in 2023. Sipho has worked with many Amapiano giants to create hit songs, some of which have received many nominations across the country music platforms. He has collaborated with Mfr Souls, De Mthuda, Russell Zuma, Kelvin Momo, Murumba Pitch, Sino Msolo, DJ Stokie, Tumza D'Kota, Abidoza, Leroyale, Soa Mattrix, Sam Deep, Jessica LM & Frank Mabeat. In June 2023, Sipho received a nomination for best instrumentalist of the year facilitated by Global Music Awards South Africa.
