Biography

PDM, also known as Pend De Munde are a live Bhangra band hailing from the southeast of England. They were formed in the early ’90s during the heyday of the live Bhangra scene. They performed across the country for a number of years & released a number of hit albums, their last album “The Pump” was released in 2005 on the Kiss Records Label. Soon after, the live scene for bands was changing and as a result, the boys decided it was time to pack away their instruments & call it a day. During the exile, the hunger slowly returned & PDM have been in & out of the studio recording new songs, however, they never released any of their material until now. They have collaborated with award-winning producer Shin Hayer for their comeback single “Ticket to Panjab”. The song’s significance is all about the connection we have to our motherland and about going back to visit to experience the culture as well as reliving the memories we have, A video will also be released with this song and we hope this will take you on a journey from wherever you are back to Panjab. Ticket to Panjab will be released on the Kiss Records label and will be out on the 21st of January. Expect to see a whole load of new tracks from PDM in 2021.
