Influenced by various artists like, City Morgue, Slipknot, $uicideboy$, Xavier Wulf and Denzel Curry, William Moreno, artistically known as Blackwill, had always been interested in making music professionally. So, after balancing college & music, the artist would start his career in 2018 with a few songs mixing trap, rap, emo and rock sounds, distinguishing himself as a different performer within the Puerto Rican music scene. A few years later, and after co-founding the alternative collective Realdeadboys, Blackwill managed to take said genres and further explore them in his project ODDSZN , a series of EPs that would later be compiled into a single album in 2020. With the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Blackwill would further experiment with other sounds eventually arriving at the present state of his work. Currently, he continues expanding his sound as he adds elements of nu metal, electronic music, phonk, drill, and even reggaetón in tracks like “ONI”, “ONI: AKUMA”, “SPIDERWEB”, “Like That”, “Green Goblin”, “UNHOLY”, and more, which have found him performing solo or collaborating alongside musicians like Someone New, ura !, Antmoney, aizea xo and RENSA. Alongside his much more polished and always experimental sound, Blackwill provides passionate, bombastic, and mosh pit-filled live experiences he wishes to enlarge by bringing more instrumentation into the already multifaceted equation. -FEN Correa
