Originally scattered across Pennsylvania’s sprawling industrial towns, cul-de-sacs, and deep woods, the slackers found themselves individually drawn to the same fateful falafel shop in 2016. An inextricable bond took root—one that years later, bore the fruit of sound. You know the sound. Some of that good ole garage grime, sweet semi-shoegaze, shakin the basement walls, slack-jawed apple butter twang, Rock and Roll music for the good times in life. The real Flink Pamingo, Cole Johnston, resides on the shred guitar, squiggling, sliding, and providing donkey-style solos as is his want. The J-Man, Justin “King” Kohn, kicks it on the hollow cylinders, laying the roots and rhythms to raise your sense income; one tall drink of water with monkey sticks akimbo. Jake “Doc” Bepis juggles the bass strings, a picture of professionalism, ruffling the fuzz and walking us right on home with that deep smooth sound for which we all pine. Mr. Whispers himself, Matt “Hat” Hoban “Moban”, transcribes the chords and melodies directly from the falafel god on high, exclusively for your listening pleasure.
