Shaun Moses is a name that one’s going to be seeing a lot more of. Hailing from Goa (India), the techno producer and DJ crafts his unique style of dark and pulsating techno, while still maintaining a raw aural aesthetic. Everything he has dropped so far is steeped in four by four goodness, with his signature meaty bass riffs and minimal, yet complex, structures. During his DJ sets, he showcases an explosive snapshot if his capabilities, bursting at the seams with an atmospheric synth haze, rolling percussive hits and deep powerful bass lines. Upon beginning his career as a DJ at a young age of 18, Shaun’s excitement and interest grew until he decided to join the ranks of underground DJs in Goa. As a child, he was exposed to a variety of flavours in electronic music at his father’s ‘Boutique House Bar’ in Arpora. With an old pair of CD players and a great dose of perseverance, Shaun picked up the skills and started making waves the moment he got recognition. He was already hitting some of the best stages and venues across India when he started releasing his own productions in 2016. Since then he’s come a long way, with releases on 15+ popular international labels, including the likes of Sian’s ‘Octopus Recordings’, Drumcomplex’s ‘Complexed Records’, Rob Hes’ ‘Pursuit Recordings’, Andre Crom’s ‘OFF Recordings’, D- Unity’s ‘Unity Records’ and Ron Costa’s ‘Potobolo Records’ to name a few.
