The Alan Duff Charitable Foundation, better known as Duffy Books in Homes, is proud to provide free books to over 100,000 New Zealand children, three times a year. Add to this a Theatre programme that performs in over 500 Kiwi primary schools and role models that talk to students about how reading and literacy has helped them thrive and you have Duffy Books In Homes. If you're a Duffy kid then I bet you know Read About It (The Duffy Song), off by heart already. The music was written by two of New Zealand's most well-known musicians,Dave Dobbyn and Jan Hellriegel.
