Kristin Carpenter might seem like a newcomer in the music industry but her earliest memory is with a guitar, no, not a toy guitar but a real guitar, given to her parents by the tender age of three. Born in Boston, Kristin moved to Värmdö, a suburb outside of Stockholm, when she was six years old. From then on it was years of violin, dance, acting and choir at Adolf Fredriks Musikklasser, studying drama in high school and applying (and winning!) different kinds of songwriting contests. Kristin has been writing professionally for others since her late teens. For the past few years, she’s been working with Swedish DJ duo NOTD, fellow TVG writers Julia & Anton and artists such as Rhys, LOVA and British Netflix punkband Nasty Cherry.
