The influence of J*Davey’s sound has been cited by some of the most prominent players in the industry: The Weeknd and The Internet. D’LEAU’s pivotal work as a songwriter and producer on the lead single “Coffee” from Miguel’s third studio album Wildheart led to his first Grammy-nomination. The double-platinum release “#Beautiful” by Mariah Carey followed by his production and creative direction for Raphael Saadiq’s latest album: Jimmy Lee solidified his inventive reputation.
