A Blue Ocean Dream’s music can be described in short as electropop or synthpop, but it’s way more than that. It all started as an instrumental ambient project in 2001. The aim was to release a self produced album with water as a theme. On the second album, Influences like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode etc began to shine through in the music, yet it had it’s own sound that lead to a record deal with the American synthpop label ”a different drum” in 2005, where the ”on the road to wisdom” album was released. In 2008 ”father to son” was released as a diy album showing more thoughtful lyricism and dance beats. Right now (2022) a new single is being finished for release, before the long awaited album ”Solitude Living” arrives.
