Erki Pärnoja is an Estonian composer and multi-instrumentalist, well-known as the guitarist of Estonian art-pop group Ewert and The Two Dragons. As a solo artist, he has revealed a diverse and more alternative side, as a frontman and songwriter composing expansive instrumental music, continuing to push the boundaries. His distinctive, cutting guitar sound, and mercurial, melodic lines are best summed up as a cinematic, complex affair between dream-pop and contemporary classical music. His six solo albums include the widely-acclaimed masterpiece, the genre-crossing exploration Saja Lugu, followed by Leva and Anima Mea, his first piece written for a choir. Finally Volga: Six Pieces for Piano written for his second instrument.
