Charlotte Balibar aka SuperJaimie is a New York-based DJ and vocalist from France. Her journey in music began with piano lessons in Paris at a young age, then turned into singing and playing in local bands as a teenager and young adult. After moving to New York in the late 90s, Charlotte performed as a Jazz/Bossa/French singer and joined the Lafayette Inspirational Ensemble choir in Brooklyn. Charlotte got her start as a DJ as part of the creative community of Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, when she started playing at the now legendary local spot Grand 275. She then quickly landed residencies and bookings throughout the city. After entertaining diverse crowds at renowned NYC venues for nearly 10 years, SuperJaimie refined her sound as deep, melodic & groovy, and ventured into making her own music. She released her debut single “Feel The Vibe” on The Sound of New York City in the summer of 2019, co-produced with label head Danilo Braca. Her 2nd single "Homage To Jean S", a tribute to American actress & civil rights activist Jean Seberg, was released early 2021. "Xpress Yourself" followed in early 2022.
