Filipe Lorenzo is one of the new revelations of Bahian music. A singer and songwriter, he released his acclaimed disc "Odisseia Baiana" in October 2016, produced and arranged by Paulo Mutti. His touring show was nominated in 6 categories at the 2nd Caymmi Prize (2017), including "Best Show", "Best Male Singer", and "Best Musical Direction". The eponymous song of the album won the "Best Song" and "Best Arrangement" categories at the 1st Caymmi Prize (2015). With influences in Jazz, Pop, and Afro-Brazilian Music, the album was listed in the top 10 Bahian albums of the year in 2016 by critics and journalists.
