Touraj Golestani (born in iran on sep 16, 1987), known professionally as parazit is an artist, songwriter and beatboxer. Parazit has actively been a critical part of the Iranian Hip Hop scene since 2004. Early on in his career, he laid the foundation for the group 13 with 2 other members which resulted in two studio albums called “Sarnevesht e Siah” and “Seday e Iran.”With the group 13 being disbanded, Parazit launched his solo career introducing creative and innovative styles. He has continuously bridged the cultural gap between the westerns versus eastern cultures through his music. He has also been one of the early adaptors of the new era of beatboxing and winning the first beatboxing tournament in Iran. His persistent and unfailing approach to new styles has undoubtedly made him a unique phenomenon in Iranian pop culture with his growing fan base on Instagram.
