Senté is a rapper, singer-songwriter and producer from Kampala, Uganda. 🇺🇬 His music pulls from an eclectic range of influences - most notably in the hip-hop, R&B and afrobeat genres - and his versatile approach to creation means his music knows no bounds. Senté's debut EP "You Wasted Kampala Love" is a showcase of this versatility. Over the course of 3 songs, Senté tells a story of a love found, a love enjoyed and a love "gone to waste." He delivers smooth lines expressing his infatuation for a young "Kampala Woman" who has made the dancefloor her own over Yannique's rhythmic afro-pop production to open the project. He follows that up with "Bad For You," an RNB ballad with trap-infused production where Senté bounces in and out of different pockets with proclamations of his deep love for his partner, recounting their relationship journey in the process. To close out the project, Senté sings about needing reciprocated behaviour from a lover who takes more than they give. Ric.keyz' percussive Afro-pop production lays the perfect foundation for Senté's lovelorn lyrics and storytelling to shine as he creates a danceable heartbreak anthem with "Wasted Love."
