Born in Columbus, Ohio, Schuyler began singing at the tender age of Two. Realizing this talent, his family began placing him in anything that would enhance his musical abilities, while keeping him focused on the true intent of his gift; glorifying God. Being a true love of music, Schuyler's palate expanded beyond that of just Gospel. With influences such as Daryl Coley, LaShaun Pace and Kim Burrell, Schuyler journeyed through the musical genius of Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Ella Fitzgerald and Luther Vandross to name a few. His eclectic grasp of music is reflected in his artistry today. In 2012, Schuyler released his first album "The Best Is Yet to Come". This album garnered favorites such as "Your Presence", "Glory", and its title track, "The Best Is Yet to Come". In the Fall of 2015, Schuyler went back into production to make his soon coming sophomore album. On April 14th 2017, its' first single "House" will be released to radio and all musical outlets for your hearing! Schuyler Johnson looks forward to releasing a catalogue of music that will span generations and point people back to the necessity of God in our daily lives.
