Shaun Hettinger (Memoryy) moved to Brooklyn after 10 years of singing and playing keys in LA indie bands. An early member of NYC dance group The Golden Pony, he soon began making his own breed of 80's tinged Synth-Pop under the moniker Kitten Berry Crunch. Expanding into a 6-person band, KBC became a staple in the Brooklyn scene and upon evolving a more sophisticated sound, they changed their name to Memoryy. They released 2013's Electric City EP and gigged with bands like Wet, Black Light Dinner Party, Ava Luna and Vito from The Rapture. Disbanding the live group in 2014, Hettinger holed up in the studio with Brothertiger to create the Young Oblivion EP. With a new focus on studio production, Memoryy began self-producing the Skeletons LP ahead of a move to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Featuring one last collaborations with NYC friends like Brothertiger, The Golden Pony and Yeasayer-producer Abe Seiferth, the album finally was released in April 2017 and featured several Top 10 songs on HypeMachine. Forming his production company NEON MOON STUDIOS, Memoryy wrote the Netflix Chelsea Handler theme and scored projects for Amazon, MTV, Revlon, Gatorade and more. Also notable are his buzz-worthy remixes for artists like Body Language, Troy Ramey, King Deco and Bridgit Mendler. Recently he's been writing & releasing film scores under his real name Shaun Hettinger
