Born of Guinean descent in 1999, Henri B. Styles credits the toy stereo she received at 5 years old to kickstarting her career as an R&B artist. Inspired by the likings of Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and SZA, the singer favors soothing contemporary R&B with a hip-hop, jazz, and afro-beat appeal. 
 Henri B. Styles released her first EP Alter-Ego in 2019, where she drew heavily on a dreamy-ethereal vibe. After Henri’s debut EP release, the singer spent the remainder of the year building a catalog of songs that were unfortunately lost and ultimately led to the creation of The Lost Files EP in 2019. “Hi Now” and “What You Want”, Henri B.
