Labeled by CNN Life as "The Young Cebuano Troubadour" and recognized by The Freeman Cebu as "one of the city's most promising local acts," Keith Human is a multi-talented Cebuano singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. Keith’s musical journey began with his first SoundCloud upload in 2013. Since then, he has performed in various bars and coffee houses across Cebu. His 2016 lo-fi folk EP, The Bedroom Voice, recorded entirely on his phone, was followed by The Pink EP in 2018. In 2021, Keith signed with Melt Records and released his debut single, Leave Your Baggage By The Door. Beyond music, his advocacy work shines through—he co-founded a community pantry with friends during the pandemic and regularly performs at events promoting human rights, peace, and youth development. Keith also co-founded The Folking Friends Production, an artist-driven collective that organizes gigs for local talents, especially those with smaller followings. Known for his poetic lyricism, nostalgic tones, and heartfelt emotion, Keith’s compositions are uniquely impactful. His debut album Boringly Wild was released on October 13, 2023. Most recently, on August 2, 2024, he launched his first acoustic live album, Songs Written on a Convenience Store Receipt, donating all proceeds to the victims of Typhoon Carina. Currently, Keith is focused on new music with his various side projects—THE CRISIS, SAD DAY ASSISTANCE, and JOUISSANCE—as well as his solo work.
