Sedeck Sterling Cheeks or better known as Sed The Truth, is a music artists from the small town of Ypsilanti, Michigan where he was never expected to become what he is today. Following the route of others he found himself thinking about what his life could look like if it were up to him. After his first year of attending the University of Toledo studying to become a Bio-engineer. Sed had a sudden change of direction. After finding it unbearable to sit in expensive classrooms learning about things that he had no passion for. Sed packed his bags and went home to find out what he was really about. Going through a self-discovery period in his life he went into a period of solitude. Spending all of his free time by himself he began to learn his own true upsides and shortcomings. He began rapping, singing, acting, writing, and networking through his podcast "Sedeck's Cup" which he published in 2019. As natural as this was for him he felt as if he had too much time on his hands still. He then decided to attend Washtenaw Community College where he enjoyed studying Acting, Performing, Film, Song Writing, and Sound Engineering up until the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic interrupted. Stuck in the house, once again on his lonesome, he found himself rapping all the time. Simply because he liked to rap, nothing more. Music went from a hobby to a lifestyle in the blink of an eye. Sed then created his own Production company for his music videos called Allova Productions. sed The Truth was born.
