AshtonLavish is a musician from Oakland, Ca, and is now currently located in Sacramento, Ca. AshtonLavish began his music career in 2011 while attending Sacramento State University. Coming from Oakland at the time he says that, "we grew up poor and deep down my determination for everything I did was to get my family in a better position in life. Playing a sport or being a musician seemed like it was the only route to go." AshtonLavish used sports as a stepping stone to get into college. In college, he began rapping and singing but found himself in-tuned with the mixing engineering process as well. He was big on Nipsey Hussle, and the theory of insourcing as much as you can until you have to outsource, building foundations, relationships, and generational wealth with knowledge of ownership. All of that came into play throughout his years of growing as an artist and now businessman. AshtonLavish has grown to create and co-found an independent entertainment company, NoGravity Entertainment LLC, here in Sacramento, Ca. His music has been called conscious but a vibe to listen to.
