Official Hec, aka Hector Rodriguez Jr., spent his early childhood in Roosevelt, NY, before moving to Brentwood, NY. From these roots, he has risen in the rap scene, especially after the release of his EP Gutter Rose, Vol. 1. His recent album, Blossom (2023), showcases his growth and dedication to his craft, solidifying his place as a rising star in the industry. During the pandemic in the summer of 2020, Hec founded Gutter Rose Entertainment, creating a platform for his unique voice and vision. With a style deeply rooted in the struggles of the lower working class, his lyrics paint vivid pictures of life’s hardships, drawing from personal experiences and the world around him. His breakout single, “Money Marathon ” (2020), reached audiences in 24 countries, including Brazil, Ecuador, Australia, and the UK. As he gears up to release his highly anticipated mixtape, I Stopped Caring, in late August 2024, Hec continues to captivate listeners with his raw and authentic storytelling.
