Formed in 2019, in the Granite City of Aberdeen, Scottish alt-rock band VULPINE have gained a reputation as a rapidly emerging talent on the music scene; providing a distinctive and unique sound unrestricted by genre boundaries, yet also offering connection through relatable and emotive lyrical themes. In 2021, following a series of singles, VULPINE released their debut EP ‘Ventures’. Opened by the anthemic crowd pleaser ‘Aftermath’, the five tracks on ‘Ventures’ explore themes of heartache, existentialism, and, perhaps most importantly, hope and optimism. Drawing in listeners from across the world, the title track of the EP saw the band featured on the prestigious BBC music introducing show. In mid 2023 VULPINE have begun the release of their second offering ‘Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn’, a collection of daring songs that take after the paradox they are known for; cunning musicianship and thematic familiarity – with the songs confronting the emotional challenges we all face in the stress of modern life. Through this release, VULPINE have continued to hone their craft and demonstrated that their journey has only just begun.
