Asheboro, North Carolina natives “Lewi” & “Gee2slatt” of “Crown Chasin” released their first single in 2014. In December 2015, with less than a year of experience artists, went on with the release of their debut mixtape titled, “Chasin The Crown,” under the name “Crown Chasin Ent.” This release acquired over 10,000 streams, in the first 2 weeks, with no plan behind promotion, outside of posts on their Facebook accounts. Crown Chasin’s buzz quickly spread throughout Greensboro and the surrounding areas, becoming that dynamic twin duo that eventually ignited the uprise of their brand and music careers. 
A few years later, Crown Chasin going unnoticed landed commercial airplay on multiple radio stations throughout North Carolina. “Downtown” and “Back n Forth” being their most popular songs landed them a placement to perform at the 102 Jamz “Car Show” a popular concert where some of the biggest Hip-Hop names perform. With a buzz around their area they were able to quickly land a independent distribution deal with “Mo Money Records”. With their crafty and entertaining videos they were able to gain a strong fan base. With Accumulating over 100,000 views on YouTube & landing several placements on major social media outlets, they continue to set the standard for upcoming music artist in their area.
