Louix Cartagena Latin Recording Academy Member (Grammy) is a singer, writer, actor and producer of modern urban rhythms. Born and raised In Puerto Rico, Louix was Influenced by his barrio and family culture on the municipality of Guayama. Arts, Music and Sports were a key component of his upbringing. He pursued music and had his first experience with a Record Label in high school which fueled his passion. Tropical singer Domingo Quiñones soon became his mentor and musical influence. His single ”Pa' La Calle" was widely accepted and has become a fresh artistic offer as it fusions R&B with urban sounds, and his tribute to the Mexican duo Sin Bandera, is a solid representation of this new urban voice of latin R&B, dancehall, reggaeton, trap and tropical rhythms. In 2015, he had his first experience in film with his role on "Our Brand Is Crisis" with Sandra Bullock and "The Oath", a series produced by 50 Cent. Nevertheless, Louix finds his greater passion through music and uses his lyrics to express his true self, sharing himself with his fan base, both locally and Internationally. During this last year Louix has been able to reach International markets as far as Asia Pacific (Hong Kong). His fan base continues to grow and his biggest dream is to grow, inspire, and touch each and every one of his listeners and fans across the world, following his dreams, mission and purpose in life.
