Born in the heart of Bradford, belonging to a traditional Pakistani family originally from Islamabad, living in the area of Heaton, Fusion was born and bred in this diverse multicultural city and could not have asked to be anywhere else in the world, like they say, home is home. Fusion decided to take up music as a hobby in the first year of sixth form at school. It got very serious in the first year of university as Fusion was hiring studios to make songs. This meant he had to find a job to fund his passion, but this was not the only hurdle. Bradford has never had a rapper, producer to take up music from the Pakistani community making it almost impossible to learn and get some form of help to develop his skills. Fusion understood that being a successful artist meant one had to develop a personal and unique sound, so what was he to do. He started to study rap from watching music videos from America and the UK urban desi scene, taking inspiration and creating sample tunes, but there was still something not gripping him till he wrote his first Urdu bars. When Fusion rapped it out over a beat for the first time it sent Goosebumps through his body as he knew he was on to a winner as there was no one delivering such flows or writing such Urdu bars, so it made sense to him to create a niche for himself with Urdu and bilingual rapping which can break boundaries all over the world.
