J-zero born Jermaine Nicholas Ojwang in Kenya (East Africa) is a recording music artiste, songwriter, producer, performer and vocal trainer. From as young as 7 years J-Zero was highly influenced by his father who was and still is an avid music lover. His father exposed him to American soul music, the Kenyan old golden “Zilizopendwa” and Congolese Lingala music. He started singing at age 13 and spent many years under the influence of Michael Jackson, Tu-Pac, R Kelly, T-Pain and Justin Timberlake, and he practiced his vocal abilities by singing along to their songs. Since then, he spent most of his time entertaining his friends and family who took a liking to his singing. J-Zero is a producer and A&R Director at Hypemasters Entertainment which he founded with his partner Aaron “DJ Aaron” Mbalu in 2007. J-Zero credits his musical diversity to Dj Aaron who exposed him to a more advanced way of music production and recording. J-Zero has since then amassed a plethora of songs approximating to 500 unreleases which range from Dance Hall, Hip Hop, Dance and R&B genres.He also prides himself in his African heritage and has more recently been working on his unique "Mnazi Sauti" under the guise Luo Man whence his roots came.
