sneaky jesus is a Poland-based quartet playing out of the box music. The band mixes the sound of breakbeat, polish jazz, dub, hardcore punk, psych rock and hip hop without caring about the rules of each of those genres. There are only two rules when it comes to sneaky jesus’s music: don’t overthink and do what feels best. The quartet is comprised of: Maciej Forreiter - whose guitar can sound deadly and gnarly but it can also feel like a light breeze, Matylda Gerber - who plays the saxophone with enormous power and deep emotions, Beniamin Łasiewicki - whose bass adds another dimension to the harmony and the groove that keeps the band grounded, Filip Baczyński - that plays the drums with a wide range of dynamics and with a lot of clever rhythm displacements. sneaky jesus builds on authenticity that turns out to be a great value for the public nowadays. Following their debut album „For Joseph Riddle”, they are working towards releasing a new material. It will reflect the polish post-industrial landscape and deep emotions associated with current life in Poland.
