Jazz pianist, arranger, composer and producer best known for his artistic contribution to albums of a big list of artists such as Luz Casal, José Luis Perales, Miguel Poveda, Buika, Andrés Calamaro, Karen Souza, Rosario La Tremendita, among others. José is one of the most versatil and elegant pianist in Spain, being capable to master styles such as Bolero, Brazilian, Jazz, Tango, Funk, Fusion, Pop, Blues. He was raised in Uruguay, but at age of 18 start to move all over the world, first studying music at Berklee College Of Music of Boston in 1994, then moving to Spain in 1999. He is married with famous actress and singer Flora Martínez. He has received several awards such as Argentinian Carlos Gardel Awards, Best Original Soundtrack at the Málaga Film Festival, Best Flamenco Album of the year 2010 in Spain, and several Latin Grammy Nominations.
