Biography

Since its establishment in 2013 the Ardorè Duo has delighted audiences at many prestigious venues. Following a debut at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, a busy schedule quickly developed across Italy including appearances at the Villa d'Este, Festival Pontino, Villa Vigoni, AGIMUS, St. Paul’s Within the Walls, Villa dei Cardinali, Narni Music Festival 2016 and 2017, the Polish Cultural Institute in Italy, the Danish Academy of Rome, Milton Court in London, and Accademia Filarmonica Romana. A highlight was a recital at the Museum of the Violin in Cremona where they were offered the use of the famed "Nicolo Amati" (ex-Collin of 1669). Now based in London they enjoy a growing reputation, with a rapidly developing concert diary and recording career. In 2017 Ardorè Duo has recorded David Collins’ Violin Sonatas for Sheva Recording that obtained the highest mark in a review by The Art Music Lounge. Particularly committed to modern and contemporary music, Ardorè Duo was dedicated compositions by composers from all over the world: Giorgio Astrei, Omer Barash, Eliza Brown, Daniele Carnini, David Collins, Caterina Di Cecca, Francesco Fournier Facio, Paolo Marchettini, Massimo Munari, and Michele Paradiso. After a concert dedicated to Messiaen, at the 54th Nuova Consonanza Festival in Rome, Ardorè Duo was awarded the Premio Scotese for the best young performer of the Festival.
