Raised in northern California, improvising instrumental music along with the sounds of creaking redwood trees and crashing surf, Hubrist’s roots are in the realm of the emotional, ethereal, and natural. After being awakened to the power and possibilities of electronic sound during his years living in Japan, it was only a matter of time before he found a way to merge his organic roots with his newfound electronic inspirations.
