Kamel Bushnaq, better known by his stage name Polykrome, is a Canadian music producer, DJ, and composer of Middle Eastern and Bosnian descent. He began producing and composing music at the age of 18 and since then experimented with various genres. In 2024, Polykrome cemented his name as a sought-after producer after receiving a Canadian Screen Award nomination for his work on “I Won’t Break’, a power ballad created for the film “Queen Tut”. Although he currently specializes in dance and electronic, his approach to music is very eclectic and is attributed to his diverse background. He grew up in an artistic household in Jordan where visual art, literature, and world music were a daily influence. With his relentless passion for music, Polykrome creates enchanting melodies coupled with powerful drums and basslines designed to rock dance floors [and living rooms] worldwide. Add to that his near-obsessive perfectionism and attention to detail, and you have an artist who is quickly on his way to becoming one of the most recognizable names in music.
