Biography

Friends for years, Jonathan Flanders, Joseph Manning and Craig Langton formed Ménage à Trois after an evening in a karaoke bar in Manchester's Gay Village. After several pieces of Romantico-Oceanic pop finely distilled on the web over the past few years, the union of the Mancunians of Ménage à Trois gave birth to "Australia Part I" and "Australia Part II", two Eps released in 2015 on the Cracki Records label. Halfway between the Manchester Indies and R. Kelly's GNI, Ménage à Trois's music is directly inspired by the abyssal depths of the ocean and the sun of the southern hemisphere. Their first album "Australia part III" released on Cracki Records in April 2017 was the last chapter: the realization of a sensual dream, that of a sunset on the Southern Ocean. Summer stroll, endless summer afternoons, listening to this record is losing track of time. On June 8, 2018, the trio was already back with a new EP entitled "Don't Forget It". Five pieces evoking the stages of the love relationship. From the first special moments of the encounter with the other to the beginning of the love feelings. Then comes the moment of rupture and melancholy that gradually settles in. Like the prism of a carved glass, this counter-current project has not finished making us (re)discover our most intimate feelings by breaking down music into rays of soft and regenerating light...
