G.E.N (Genuinos Extractos Nihilistas) was founded around mid 2011 in Santiago, Chile, as a band which main purpose is to develop a modern and original concept of metal, extracting influences and incorporating elements from all over the musical spectrum including doom, gothic and post rock. Their music manifest a long narrative with dramatic twists, creating dark atmospheres and melancholic passages. During their live shows, they perform a dramatic theater scene including existentialist poetry and audio visual elements. The band has released one promotional ep called EP-Manifesto (2012), published by Digmetalworld Records, and one official full-length album called LP-No Ink For a Self Portrait (2013) edited and distributed by Sun Empire Productions label. Now the new album Memories (2018) is released in all platforms to be purchased and streaming available.
