Insomnea is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Washington, D.C. She discovered her passion for music at a young age. It led her to studying Vocal Performance at UArts in Philadelphia. Shortly after completing school she moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue her dreams and career in music. Insomnea is a variety of different styles: neo-soul, hip hop, jazz and electronic music. She makes music to spread messages about social and political issues, self love and positivity. Insomnea’s goal is to connect with as many people as she can through her music.
