German rapper Dendemann was acclaimed for his idiosyncratic flow and wry, slice-of-life rhymes. Born Daniel Ebel in Menden -- aliases also included Daniel LaRusso, Olaf Mitender, and Volker Racho -- he first surfaced in collaboration with fellow rapper Majubiese and producer Carsten "Boogie" Schulz in the group Arme Ritter, which issued the Sony Music label hit "Disco '95 (Singt und Schwingt das Bein)." From there Dendemann teamed with DJ Rabauke as Eins Zwo, in addition to guesting on numerous hip-hop releases. When Eins Zwo split in 2003, he issued his first solo EP, Das Schweigen Dilemma. Dendemann did not release a proper full-length until 2006's Die Pfütze des Eisbergs. A new single, "Endlich Nichtschwimmer," followed in early 2007. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
